Shooting F.A.Q.

Where are you based?

I’m newly located in North County San Diego, and can travel to San Diego & Los Angeles to shoot regularly.
Shoots further afield are always welcome as well, get in touch and we can discuss it. If I have a few requests for a city, I can make the trip out.

Where will the shoot be?

For shooting outdoors, there are lots of options - a park, the forest, the beach, a favourite trail… I love to find great new locations for shooting in outdoor natural light.
For indoors, we can shoot in in a rented setting - some ideas include an airbnb, a peerspace location, or hotel or studio. If you need ideas, let me know and we can work something out.

Are you [x] friendly?

I strongly believe that beautiful photography is for everyone. I am fat positive, gender affirming, sex work friendly, anti-racist, and always striving to include people who have been historically excluded.

Can I use the photos for [x]?

You can use the photos we make together however you like online - social media, your website, OnlyFans, Patreon, etc.
If you want to make physical merchandise from the photos to sell (prints, shirts, etc) please contact me for a licensing fee.

Can I bring a friend/chaperone?

Absolutely! I actively encourage you to bring someone along. Shoots are more fun with company you’re at ease with.

Can I shoot with a friend/partner/extra models?

Yes! My packages are based on time spent, not on subjects - so if you want to share the shot with someone, the price won’t change. You can split the package between you, or bring them along as a gift! Just let me know how many people to expect in advance.

I’m nervous/i’ve never modelled!

My shoots are very laid back. You don’t need any modelling experience; I have plenty both in front of and behind the camera, and know how to help direct you in a way that feels comfortable to you. I’m also very consent-focused, and won’t ever physically readjust or touch your body, clothes or hair without asking. People often tell me that they feel extra confident during our shoots, and it can be a very affirming and healing process. I always work with the utmost respect for my models, and am a signatory on the KLE “Creating Safer Sets: A guide for photographers and sex workers” guide.

When will I get my photos?

Shooting on film means it takes a while to send the photos off to be developed in the lab, and then scan them before editing them, so my usual timeframe is 2-3 weeks. Once they’re done, I’ll e-mail you a link to download the high-resolution digital copies of your photos.
If you need them sooner than that, I have a rush option for an additional fee.

Do you have discounts/sliding scale pricing?

Definitely. I offer sliding scale pricing to marginalised people, including people in the trans community, people of colour, and people on low income. Contact me to work something out.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. I ask for a $100 deposit to lock in your date, and the remainder on the day of the shoot (via paypal, venmo, cash or bank transfer).
If you can’t make the shoot, please let me know ASAP (no less than 3 days in advance) so that we can reschedule. Late-notice cancellations after this point will not be refunded their deposit, and if you want to reschedule you will have to start a new booking. *Exceptions for covid-related cancellations, see below

What Covid precautions are you taking?

We will stay socially distanced the entire shoot, and I can also stay masked if we are working indoors. I’m double vaccinated and boosted, and if you have any concerns please let me know and we will minimise risk in whatever way you feel necessary. If you have any covid symptoms, tell me beforehand and we will reschedule free of charge.
