Fog

“I’ve been keeping the Plath grave tidy for. her, you now. People leave all kinds of things. Try to scrape Hughes off.” He was right. The last name on the headstone is scratched, noticeably paler than it’s predecessors from the efforts of people trying to erase it.

When my photo of the grave came out of the developing tank, it was burned off exactly to the bottom of the headstone.
